Experience

I became fluent in Spanish as an exchange student. I spent a year in Ecuador before heading to college. I attended Davidson College, where I had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant for the Spanish department on campus. In that role, I worked with undergraduate students to help them with Spanish language learning as well is in their studies of Latin American culture. As a college junior, I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain, helping me develop an appreciation for the origins of the Spanish language. I have experience working as an interpreter between Spanish and English. I'm looking forward to share what I know with others to help them become successful Spanish-language speakers. When I have free time, I enjoy running, swimming, painting, writing, riding my bike, drinking coffee, and ceramics.
