I went to McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland. Upon Graduation from High School, I decided on a small liberal arts school with an astronomy degree. That school was Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. During my studies I was able to work as a student assistant in Astronomy, Earth Science and Physics. I ended up completing a double major in Astronomy and Philosophy. I went on to complete a Master's Degree in Education from Loyola College (now University) in Baltimore , MD focusing on Curriculum and Development.
Experience
Tutored previously with Sylvan Learning Centers, Huntington Learning Centers and Trust Tutoring (Bethesda , MD). I am a certified Math teacher living in Orlando Florida. I enjoy tutoring students of all ages and abilities. I have a calm, patient and understanding manner which leans itself well to helping students understanding the topics which can be frustrating for students. I am also a published poet and a graduate of the SAK Improvisation School both of these experiences help me to think on my feet and to get a better rapport with my students.
