I graduated in the top 5 percent of my class at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, FL Spring of 2013. I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University double majoring in Global Studies and Spanish. I have also previously studied Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, and Chemistry.

Experience

Tutored Algebra in high school 1980 on SAT writing, math, and reading combined 30 overall score on ACT 28 on math, 30 on writing and reading I would like to be a tutor because I believe it is a good use of my time. I enjoy helping others but it also allows me to retain the information I have learned and mastered at a higher level. I have taken Modern Biology (4 on AP Biology exam), Chemistry 1 and 2, AP Environmental Science (5 on AP exam), and Spanish I, II, and III as well as Intermediate Spanish I and II at CMU, I have also taken higher-level (300 - 500 level) Spanish classes at CMU. I am also well-versed in resume writing, marketing, and job interview prep.

Hobbies

I was highly involved in Global Medical Brigades. A club at CMU that travels to countries such as Honduras, Panama, and Ghana during Spring Break each year to work on projects to improve the quality of life in those countries. Spring Break 2013 we travelled to Honduras to set up a medical clinic and help to finish a water project in rural villages such as El Junquillo, Apacilagua, and Pueblo Nuevo. I studied abroad at la Universidad de Tarapaca in Chile Spring 2016. I am now a working professional at an Engineering Consulting firm in Baldwin Park, FL.
